From my experience, you will have problems. However, you might be able to talk to the hotel security and have them do a background check on you. If they approve you, you can gamble without your permanent license (they will give you a special ID tag). Be sure to bring your old expired photo license if you have it.

In general, you need to have a picture ID from your state or country that shows your face and validates your age, such a state-issued driver's license or ID card or an official passport or pasport card.
