Las Vegas might be known for its vibrant nightlife and casinos, but it can also be a wonderful destination for families. In the past we have written guides on the best shows and hotels for families, but today we’re going to focus on the best family friendly restaurants for kids. Our picks range from casual cafes to upscale dining experiences that children are sure to love. 

1. Hash House A Go Go

Hash House A Go Go at The LINQ is one of the best places to eat for families. This restaurant provides large portion sizes and a huge menu filled with dishes that everyone is sure to love. Families can look forward to a lively atmosphere and servers that are happy to go the extra mile to make sure you have a great meal.

The restaurant has a kids menu for 10 years old and under that features a number of their main menu dishes in smaller portions, such as the French toast combo or their chocolate chip buttermilk pancakes. For parents and older kids, the main menu has choices like a chicken Benedict or a blueberry lemon glazed waffle. 

2. Buddy V’s Ristorante

Buddy V’s Ristorante is a great choice for anyone looking to have a delicious and affordable meal. The restaurant is located at The Venetian and offers a great view of the rest of the Strip during your meal.

Buddy V’s has a small selection of items on their kids menu, including dishes like spaghetti pomodoro, chicken parmesan, and their tomato basil soup with focaccia croutons. For older children and adults, the main menu features dishes like Mediterranean branzino with lemon and capers, or the signature Valastro Sunday gravy with meatballs, sausage, lamb, and pork poured over a bowl of rigatoni.

3. Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips

Located in The LINQ Promenade, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips offers customizable boxes where you can choose your own protein and fries from a list of different options. This walk-up is perfect for families that want to grab a bite to eat without stopping for too long. 

To start building your box, you have the choice of fish, shrimp, sausage, chicken, lobster and shrimp, or fish tacos for your protein. For chips, they offer traditional fries as well as three different kinds of loaded fries, including the “Dirty #2” which is topped with truffle, parmesan cheese, chives, and parsley.

4. Eataly

If you’re looking for a more relaxed dining experience, Eataly at Park MGM is a great option. In this elevated food court, you can choose Italian food from over a dozen booths, as well as two seated restaurants, so everyone can find something they enjoy. 

Our favorite booth is La Pasta Fresca, which offers handmade pasta including a simple cacio e pepe, which kids will enjoy. La Pizzeria alla Romana is another popular booth with offerings like the funghi pizza with three different cheeses and a classic margherita pizza that is sure to be a hit.

5. Sugar Factory

Sugar Factory, located at Planet Hollywood, is a great place to indulge your sweet tooth and give your children an experience they won’t soon forget. The restaurant offers a wide variety of desserts, including their signature sundaes like the King Kong sundae with 20 scoops of ice cream! 

In addition to sweet treats, Sugar Factory also offers a large selection of savory options such as the Sugar Factory rainbow sliders with brightly colored buns that are perfect for sharing, and a grilled ham and four cheese sandwich with American, cheddar, provolone, and swiss cheese with a side of marinara. 

6. Tournament of Kings

For a dinner show that children are sure to enjoy, Tournament of Kings at Excalibur takes you back to the Medieval Era for a show that features jousting, horseback riding, and delicious food. The show is interactive, and each section cheers on their knight as they battle for their country. 

The menu features a roasted cornish game hen, lemon pepper roasted potatoes, corn on the cob, a dinner roll, and an apple square for dessert. Tournament of Kings also offers a dietary friendly meal upon request.  

7. Carmine’s 

For large portions and a family-friendly atmosphere, Carmine’s at the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace is the place to go. They offer a variety of classic Italian-American dishes with family-style portions perfect for sharing with your whole family. 

Even though Carmine’s does not offer a kids menu, the portions of the main menu items are perfect for giving your kids a chance to try dishes like eggplant parmigiana with marinara, mozzarella, and romano cheese as well as manicotti crepes stuffed with four cheeses. 

8. Bacchanal Buffet

Located at Caesars Palace, Bacchanal Buffet caters to all tastes and preferences, making it a great choice for families. The buffet includes everything from seafood to desserts, ensuring that even the pickiest eaters will find something they love.

While the menu rotates seasonally, many favorites include the carving station’s prime rib, mini chicken and waffle plates, and an Asian soup station that features black garlic ramen, Vietnamese pho, and Tom Kha soup. The buffet also has a wide selection of desserts like gelato, ube mousse, and berry cheesecake.

9. Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer

Featuring a fun and vibrant atmosphere, as well as a wide variety of their signature CrazyShake milkshakes that kids are sure to go wild for, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer at The Venetian is a perfect place to stop in for lunch or dinner. 

Black Tap doesn’t feature a kids menu, but all of their menu items are kid-friendly, including the All-American burger, which is topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and their signature sauce. As mentioned above, Black Tap offers a number of signature CrazyShakes like their Sweet ‘N Salty peanut butter milkshake topped with M&M’s, peanut butter cups, pretzel rods, whipped cream, and more. 

10. Back to the 80’s Cafe & More

Despite being a short drive away from the Strip, Back to the 80’s Cafe & More is well worth the trip. The cafe is incredibly immersive and gives kids and parents the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. 

With 80’s-inspired dishes like the Culture Club Sandwich with crispy bacon, turkey, tomato, lettuce and cheese on sourdough and Rocky’s Philly cheesesteak sandwich with sauteed onions, peppers and garlic aioli, parents will be sure to enjoy a blast from the past. For younger guests, the “kids just wanna have fun” combo gives children the option of a cheese pizza, burger, grilled cheese, or chicken tenders served with fries or tater tots, fruit, and a dessert.
