This unique musical performing at Alexis Park All Suite Resort will have you laughing, crying, dancing, and singing as its touching true story unfolds. 

Together We’ll Be Okay features Julia Jane, a talented 25-year-old singer and her father Mike Urquhart, telling the story of the two of them working together to overcome Julia’s struggle with crippling anxiety disorder in order to reach her dream of becoming a singer. Julia sets off to make her dreams a reality. She overcomes all her anxiety and fear with the help of her father who’s always up for a song with his daughter. You know it’s showtime every time he picks up the guitar. If the onstage charisma seems too authentic, it’s because these two are actually father-daughter in real life! It’s based on a true story, and you’re experiencing Julia achieving her life goal in real-time.

Audience members are invited to join in and sing along with karaoke screens as Julia and her dad perform renditions of classics like “Copacabana”, “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Dancing Queen”. The musical aims to reduce some of the stigma that exists about anxiety disorder, leaving audiences with the uplifting message that anything is possible. Even first-time attendees will be singing along by the end of the show. This two-hour musical plays Thursday through Saturday in the afternoon. It’s a family-friendly show.
