Home > St. Patrick’s Day in Las Vegas: Our Guide To Celebrating Everything Irish

Isn’t it funny how everyone claims to have Irish heritage as soon as St. Patrick’s Day rolls around each year? Well, even if you’re not actually Irish, it’s an awesome holiday to celebrate, because Las Vegas becomes one big St. Patrick’s Day party. We put together this guide to everything there is to see and do on St. Paddy’s Day – from the best Irish pubs to drink at to family-friendly festivals. Who knows, maybe you’ll catch a leprechaun and end up with a pot of gold! Now wouldn’t that be a Vegas experience?

Drink at an Irish Pub

Of course, first up on most people’s list of things to do on St. Patrick’s Day is having a drink at an Irish pub. There are actually quite a few Irish pubs in Vegas that go all out to celebrate St. Paddy’s.

We particularly love Ri Ra Irish Pub, which is a beautifully-restored authentic Irish pub that was shipped in and rebuilt inside Mandalay Bay Resort. Nine Fine Irishmen is another incredible pub that was built in Ireland and reconstructed inside New York New York.

McMullan’s Irish Pub is a favorite among Vegas locals, with an off-strip location across the road from The Orleans Hotel. At Town Square, just south of the Strip, you’ll find McFadden’s Saloon: an upscale pub modeled after the landmark drinking spot in New York City.

Eat Delicious Irish-Inspired Food

If you need to sober up a little, you can find some mouthwatering Irish-inspired fare at a number of Las Vegas restaurants, including ones where you wouldn’t expect it. Here are some of our favorite places to eat on St. Patrick’s Day in Vegas.

The Kitchen at Common’s Club, located inside Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, is celebrating the holiday with an Irish-themed breakfast special: corned beef hash skillets, 2 sunny-side-up eggs, potatoes, cabbage, and caramelized onions. Golden Circle at Treasure Island has Irish-style sandwiches with corned beef, Swiss cheese, coleslaw and pub sauce, served with pickle spears and an optional Guinness.

Coronado Café at South Point Hotel is offering a delicious Irish dinner: a Guinness-marinated sirloin steak with 2 eggs, potato cakes and Irish soda bread. They’ll also have split pea soup, and traditional corned beef and cabbage with broiled potatoes and cabbage. Naked City Pizza is serving corned beef or pastrami Reuben sandwiches, Reuben pizzas, Rueben egg rolls, and a corned beef platter.

For dessert, there are some delectable sweet treats on offer. Sugar Factory will have a Lucky Leprechaun milkshake made with vanilla and coffee ice cream and Jameson Irish Whiskey. Brera Osteria at The Venetian will be serving a Shamrock affogato made with Irish Whiskey ice cream and espresso with a caramel drizzle.
