Labor Day weekend is a fabulous time to visit Las Vegas. With summer drawing to a close all over the country, you’ll find that fun in the sun is still going strong in Sin City. The weather is almost always beautiful, with an average high of 95°F (a dry heat, so it’s quite tolerable) and a low of 71°F. Pack sunscreen, lightweight, breathable clothes, and your bathing suit!

It’s a Labor Day tradition to grill out, and while you may not be able to fire up a grill during your visit to Vegas, there are some killer barbeque restaurants in Sin City where you can fill up on mouthwateringly good grilled meats. From hole-in-the-wall BBQ joints to upscale sit-down restaurants, there’s a dining option for everyone.

Virgil’s Real BBQ is located in the Linq Promenade, serving smoked delicacies like Memphis-style ribs and Carolina-style pulled pork. Right next door to the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, Rick’s Rollin Smoke BBQ & Tavern serves up Southern favorites like brisket, pulled pork, and chicken.

Be sure to check out Project BBQ when you’re exploring Downtown Las Vegas. This permanent food truck outside Circa Resort features a fake lawn with tables where you can dig into barbeque street tacos, smoked brisket empanadas, and traditional BBQ favorites.
