careful not to go on your Red Rock adventure on a day that’s too hot, and to
bring lots of water for you and your pup. Dogs must be kept on a leash.
River Mountains Loop Trail
This dog-friendly hiking and biking trail offers the kind of scenic views, wildlife spotting and vast beauty that the Mojave Desert is known for. 34 miles of trail surrounds the river mountains connecting the Hoover Dam with Lake Mead National Recreation area. If you got a
little hungry looking at those baked treats and want a bite to eat yourself,
take your pooch to Lazy Dog. They have a delicious menu for both dogs and their
humans, with an outdoor patio where dogs are welcome.
Downtown Summerlin
If you want
to do some shopping with your furry friend, the area of Downtown Summerlin is
set up in a very dog-friendly way. You’ll find bowls of water and treats
outside a lot of the stores, and well-behaved puppers are allowed in some
shops.
Take a walk with your pet on the Vegas Strip!
You and your pooch can have a great time walking down one of the most exciting sidewalks in the world. However, you must follow the rules:
- Animals must be on a leash or other restraint no longer than 3 feet.
- If your best friend happens to be a snake, you can’t slither down the sidewalk if it is over 2 feet in length!
- Animals are only allowed on the Strip between the hours of 5am and 12 noon, so be sure to get up early. Source
