Dress Code

We recommend contacting the strip club directly for specific details on dress codes, but there are a few tips you can follow to ensure you’re appropriately dressed for many of our top choices. The best rule of thumb is to dress business casual. That means no shorts, t-shirts, or sandals. A nice pair of slacks or jeans and a button-down shirt is always a reliable option. No matter the dress code, make sure to arrive in clean, presentable clothing.

If you plan on getting a lap dance, there are some important things to consider. Don’t have anything sharp in your pockets and avoid any hard or extra-large belt buckles. This makes lap dances more comfortable for both you and the dancer. 

Cover Charges

There are a few factors that can influence what you may pay in cover charges, but most strip clubs in Las Vegas will charge between $20-$50 dollars to get in if they have a charge. These prices can fluctuate to the higher end of the spectrum during convention seasons and other special events.  

One of our biggest tips we can offer to save on cover charges is to contact club promoters, as they often have exclusive deals with certain clubs, allowing them to offer discounts or free admission. It’s also important to keep in mind that if you’re looking to get a VIP room, there will usually be a minimum spend required on top of cover charges. 

Hands-Off Rule

In Las Vegas strip clubs, you may have heard stories of wild abandon, or you may have seen movies that portray them as places where anything goes. However, it’s important that you understand this: These women are, no matter what it may seem like, working and trying to make a decent living, which is why many strip clubs have hands-off rules in place. 

This rule means that you should avoid any physical contact with the dancers. This includes touching, hugging or kissing them. If bouncers catch you with your hands on a dancer, that is a surefire way to be kicked out. That being said, you can always ask the dancer if there are any areas you can touch, but be prepared for “no” as an answer.

Tipping

When it comes to tipping in a strip club, there are some basic rules:

1. Always bring cash, in a variety of denominations. (If you plan to “make it rain” – we recommend bringing mainly one dollar bills)
2. Tipping dancers you enjoy watching over the course of the night is always a good idea
3. Do not, under any circumstances, sit at the side-stage without tipping $1-2 per dance

We recommend arriving only with as much cash as you plan on spending and leaving your credit and debit cards in your hotel safe, this way you can firmly stick to your budget and you won’t have to pay the premium ATM fees (often 5% or more). A good starting budget for a few hour visit is around $300-450. This accounts for door charges, lap dances (many dancers will offer 3 songs for $100), tipping for side-stage performances, and some leeway for additional experiences like VIP rooms. 

Lap Dances

A typical lap dance lasts for a single song. Most dancers will wait for a song to start so you get your full dance. If a dancer asks you if you would like another song after the first or third dance (whichever you paid for) and you agree, you will need to pay extra. Tipping beyond the standard cost is not required; however, if you get an outstanding dance you should definitely tip extra.

Prostitution

Contrary to popular belief, prostitution is 100 percent illegal in Clark County. Do not solicit, suggest dinner or ask for a date; as mentioned above, many of these women are simply there to make a living. Getting To the Clubs

In most cases you will either need to drive or take a taxi for these clubs, since they are off the main strip (many are 15-20 minutes away). Some of the higher-end adult clubs, such as Spearmint Rhino, will offer free VIP or taxi limo pickup, especially if you are visiting with a group. We also highly recommend that you offer a generous tip to your driver.

1. Sapphire Gentleman’s Club

Sapphire has been rated one of the hottest clubs in the U.S., and with 70,000 square feet in club space, it is the world’s largest gentlemen’s club. 2. Palomino Club

The Palomino Club is the oldest gentlemen’s club in Las Vegas, but it is anything but dated thanks to their constant updates and improvements. It’s the only strip club in Las Vegas where you can experience full nude entertainment while enjoying alcoholic beverages, and their bottle prices are quite reasonable.

They’ve been featured on many different TV channels including National Geographic and Discovery, and even had their own reality TV series on Playboy TV, called “King of Clubs”. Their expansive 30,000 square foot club features a double-pole stage on the ground floor, and upstairs you’ll find a more intimate ultra-lounge.

A recent remodeling expanded the club space to over 37,000 square feet in size, with several fully stocked bars and multiple areas with tipping stages.
